Copying Blocks on a certain trajectory,
also known as creating a footpath.
How it's done and what can we use it for:
Let's say you need to create a footprint trajectory.
Draw 2 footprints and make a block out of them.
Give it a name and pick the insertion point
somewhere in the middle of the prints.
The block should look something like this:
The blue square represents the insertion point you selected.
Now draw a polyline or a spline to mark the trajectory of the footpath.
Type 'measure', select the polyline or spline and it will ask you to Specify length of segment or [Block]
Choose block. After that it will ask you the name of the block.
Type the name you assigned to the block.
Next it will ask you: Align block with object? [Yes/No] Choose Yes.
Then you must specify the distance between
insertion points and you're all done.
Erase the source line and you should have something like this:
Hope that was useful.
Have fun!
